PASHA BANK ANNUAL REPOT 2024
ABOUT SHUSHA Mezo Digital presented SHUSHA, Azerbaijan’s first artificial intelligence artist, to the audience at the second edition of the Istanbul Digital Art Festival. SHUSHA draws attention with the motifs it produces, inspired by the values of Azerbaijan and Karabakh. The creation of SHUSHA, a collective intelligence effort comprised of artificial intelligence systems and institutions, is based on traditional visual, verbal, and auditory motifs. Named after the Karabakh region, SHUSHA aims to start its journey from this geography and carry it to different lands where the motifs originate. In this project, SHUSHA analyzes traditional Karabakh carpet motifs and recreates them as digital art. Motifs are considered one of the key elements of art creation and storytelling. Digitized Karabakh carpets, provided by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, were analyzed and reproduced by a team of digital artists. These motifs were transformed through algorithms and integrated into software that enables the generation of images and videos. “Serenade of Eternal Horizons” “Tree of Abundance” “Ethereal Guardian of Harmony” “Whispers of Violet Dreams” for App Store Artvive for Google Play A digital layer has also been added to the visuals in this report.
