PASHA Bank Realized a Bond Issuance Worth USD25 Million in the Azerbaijan Securities Market

PASHA Bank realized a bond issuance worth USD25 million in the Azerbaijan securities market.

Supporting cross-border investments with a financial bridge mission in the triangle of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia, PASHA Bank realized a bond issuance worth USD25 million in the Azerbaijan securities market.

PASHA Bank Turkey, which has recently come to the fore with the Asset-Backed Securities issuances that it realized, continued to create long-term funds from Azerbaijan Capital Markets with two bond issuances worth USD25 million in total with a maturity of 27-months.

Contributing to the development of trade among Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia, providing resources and guidance to businesses investing in the region, and serving with investment banking and corporate banking products, PASHA Bank realized the issuance of foreign currency bonds worth USD25 million. In addition to individual and institutional investors, Azerbaijan banks also participated in the issuances worth USD25 million in total with a maturity of 27 months that were intermediated by PASHA Capital.

Breaking new ground as a foreign institution in the Azerbaijan markets by becoming the first institution to issue bonds in a currency other than its own currency, PASHA Bank has issued since 2017 seven foreign currency bonds in total, six of which were in USD and one was in Euro, providing approximately USD115 million in funding.

Having met last August with investors in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, PASHA Bank Turkey was received with great interest by individual and institutional investors. At the meeting held at the Four Seasons Hotel, PASHA Bank General Manager H. Cenk Eynehan thanked the Azerbaijani investors for their trust in Turkey and PASHA Bank and their interest in their issuances, and made a presentation describing the developments in the Capital Markets in Turkey and the activities realized by the bank since its establishment.
