PASHA Bank – one of Turkey’s leading banks that contribute to the development of the trade among Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia – has published its year 2022 first-quarter figures. Having grown by 62 percent in comparison to the same period of the last year, the value of the PASHA Bank assets reached 3 billion 960 million TL.

PASHA Bank has been serving Turkey for 7 years and offering investment banking, corporate banking, and premium banking products with the purpose of contributing to the development of trade among Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia, creating resources for and providing guidance to the businesses that invest in that region did, following a successful 2021, make a successful start in 2022 as well. 

PASHA Bank has published its year 2022 first-quarter figures showing that it grew by 62 percent in comparison to the same period of the last year. The value of its assets reached 3 billion 960 million TL; its cash credits increased by 57 percent, reaching 2 billion 755 million TL; its total credits volume increased by 61 percent, reaching 3 billion 367 million TL. Thanks to its robust capital structure, strong customer portfolio, healthy credit growth, and qualified human resource, the achievements of PASHA Bank continued. In the first quarter of 2022, its profits increased by 118 percent, adding up to 30 million TL.

Having offered the Asset Based Securities (ABS), the reliable financial instruments that are lately on the rise, to the capital market players, PASHA Bank has lately issued 100 million TL worth second party of ABS to the agriculture sector. In addition to the Turkish Lira bonds it issued in Turkey, PASHA Bank’s foreign currency bond issues in Azerbaijan did reach 83 million USD.  

Upon setting up the Premium Banking Unit, PASHA Bank expanded the diversity of its investors by achieving to include qualified individual investors in its portfolio. As of the month of April, it started to provide loans in Azerbaijan Manat, USD, and EURO and as well as in Turkish Lira to the Azerbaijan citizens who wish to buy a house in Turkey.
